Manly Luke

Growing up, I loved Little House on the Prairie books. Somewhere, and I don't remember where, I read that Laura's husband, Almanzo or Manly, custom built their home and because Laura was short, he made the kitchen cabinets lower than standard cabinets.

I loved that little tidbit. Partly because I'm short. And partly because it was so romantic! Today, I realized I married a "Manly." Luke custom made these beautiful cabinets for me.

And because I'm vertically challenged, he made pull out shelves!! Thanks, Honey. Great job!

    Those are nice! Good job Luke! Man, my husband better be "Manly" too, no way can I reach regular height shelves ;) Or I could always turn to my ever-trusty brother-in-law :)
