Pt. 3 of New Hampshire Trip-Pulpit Falls

I actually should be calling these posts our New "Hampster" trip because that's what Kara called it.

The second day we were there, Justin took us to "pulpit falls." Supposedly, D.L. Moody would preach there. It was about a 15 minute walk from the road (with a four year old) to a beautiful waterfall.

I didn't get very good pictures because Kara was on mossy rocks and I was just a bit nervous!

Plus the mosquitoes decided I had the best blood, and got me about 17 times on the legs (I'm not exaggerating..see?)

Here was a dangerous bridge that I didn't cross, but Luke did holding Kara...
Here they are on the other side of the bridge. I took a few pictures and there was a bug flying around. Kara went to swat it and poked her dad in the eye instead. Ha!

It was a beautiful spot. Kara loved it. She also loved jumping!

She got a little heated doing all that jumping. We were glad to get back into the air-conditioned car.

Pt. 2 of New Hampshire trip

I'm calling this our "New Hampshire" trip but really we visited lots of places in New England. This day we spent in Massachusetts.

We started at Pothole Falls. (Those holes in the granite were made by the falls.)

Then watched some glass blowing. Finally, we walked over the bridge of flowers. BEAUTIFUL!

And all that was before lunch! We ate lunch at the top of a mountain. It was maybe my favorite part of the trip.
Finally that day, we visiting the "Scenter" of New England...Yankee Candle. There was so much to do there, I can't even explain it, so here are some pictures.


I didn't get any pictures of us smelling the candles, but oh, that was heavenly!!
Kara's favorite part was the room where it "snowed" every 4 minutes.



What a GREAT day in New Enlgand!!! Here's our family with Justin and Colette, our friends who used to live in New Hampshire. We were hosted and treated to meals and tours by their families!!!

WFMW-Art Wall

We finally got all the parts and put this art wall up yesterday. It's from IKEA.



We probably could have done it cheaper, but I've been obsessed with getting the art off the fridge and onto that wall for a long time....it was worth it to have it there!

As soon as she saw it, Kara got in the creating mood and made some pictures for it. This is Elmo!

Part 1 of New Hampshire trip/Rainbow

On the way to our trip to New Hampshire in July, we saw this beautiful rainbow. It looked as if we were following it! Beautiful!

I've noticed that you really can't see the rainbow in the video, but on a larger screen, I promise, you can see it in the sky.



Then, last week, outside our back door, we saw this sight:

There are a lot of pictures, but I couldn't help it...it was too beautiful!

Ikea

Ikea is my favorite store in the world. Here are some pics from our last outing there. They were out of Ligonberry juice, though :(

I thought this was a cute and easily stored changing table. My sister and sister-in-law both gave birth to beautiful boys so I took a picture in case anyone was interested. More to come in pictures on the new nephews :)

Lincoln Park Zoo (my kind of zoo)

Here are some randomly added pics from the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago that we visited in July with my sister, Erin (AKA Geeka) and my Dad (Papa!)

Kara loved the rhinos the most but thinks she would like the snakes if we would have found them (I'm not so sure!)

My Cousin's Wedding

Two weeks ago, Kara and I attended my beautiful cousin Anna's wedding. Here's some pics from that day!
