I got this idea from the Heater family. Last week, we watched the movie Bolt, ate popcorn and called it "Family Movie Night."
Kara was so excited that she brought all her pillows and blankets to the basement.
She insisted eating her popcorn with a spoon...
But I'm not sure about the movie choice for her. She scares easily. Every scene was a scary part for her and she spent most of the movie like this.
That's why later in the week, Luke and I decided to go see Monsters Vs. Aliens by ourselves. We just told her the name of the movie and that Miss Katie was going to babysit her and she was fine with us leaving her home. Luke and I liked Monsters Vs. Aliens (and Bolt) but are not sure if we would recommend it to families with really little kids (just a couple of jokes that were slightly off color but would probably go over little kids' heads). Both the family movie night and date night at the movies were a fun time!!!

I sincerely hope that is my favorite kettle corn - it is so much more siblime compared to the run-of-the-mill-butter popcorn. :)
You know it was!!
We took the boys Thanksgiving night to see Bolt in the theatre. ELijah started crying when they caught Bolt and now everytime he sees a picture or ad tells me that was a bad movie it made me cry. Ugh! I've scarred him!
Every time I see that picture of Kara covering her eyes I laugh. HAHAHAHA! I definitely want to print that one out.
